Happy Holidays Everyone!

The response to the new site has been great and I am so happy that you all like what we have done so far. As we move into the New Year you will see a lot of different features that I hope will keep you coming back frequently!

The Buddy Rich Big Band is hitting the road in 2012 so hopefully you will all have a chance to come see and hear the newest incarnation of this incredible band. I think you will all be very surprised. Buddy is happy and that's all that matters. His wish was to keep the band working, the music playing, and doing something for young people....this new venture certainly does all that and then some! Our first gig is headlining the Beavercreek Weekend of Jazz. http://www.weekendofjazz.org/

I also will be announcing our plans for the 2012 Buddy Rich Memorial Concert in the coming weeks. The show will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Buddy's passing. I can't believe it's been twenty five years...I still miss him every day. I hope he likes what we have done for him for the past twenty five...I will continue doing whatever I can for the next twenty five!!!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See you next year!
